Cuma mo cerita tentang aku dan diriku

(ya iyalah ya..blog gw kan kalo ga ngomongin diri sendiri ya gw ngomongin orang laen..)

hehehe..

Diriku, masi sedikit kere..ahhaha..

tapi gw super bersyukur karena sekali lagi Tuhan kita tuh Tuhan yang idup

dan tau kebutuhan umatNYA banget yah!

Jadi kan ceritanya, di my lil family..Arip tuh sole bread winner lah ceritanya,

jadi penghasilan utama yah di dia, dan belakangan ini kita banyak keperluan untuk rumah, tiket pesawat dan antek anteknya..and at one point gw berasa " duh, kok mepet sekali yah "

Tapi pertengahan February kemaren tiba tiba kantor Arip ngumumin angka bonus, dan puji Tuhan banget deh pas liat angkanya..cuman agak2 mikir juga jadinya, kok bisa ya..di tengah tengah krisis gini masi ada bonus 3x lebih gede dari jumlah yang Bang Arip harapkan..*trima kasih Tuhan -wink*
cuman yah itu lah ya,

dan segala sesuatunya mungkin buat Dia.

Dan Bubbly brush ku sudah mulai berjalan, Thanks God!
Ternyata freelance tuh mantep yah incomenya..gw kaget loh ^^
So far gw freelancing, di hari buruk..1 hari gaji freelance = 2-3 hari gaji kerja di kantor
di hari baik: 3 hari freelance = 2 minggu gaji di kantor
Mantap!

Dan by the end of the day pada saat client puas sama hasil Bubbly brush kasih feedback bagus kayak

Cuman, kebanyakan job itu di hari sabtu minggu..dan gw mulai bosen di rumah dari senen-jumat nya, makanya gw lagi cari2 job di beauty/cosmetics line..kemaren sempet kepikiran mo apply jadi team make up di Bobbi brown or MAC, cuman jam kerjanya retail hours bo..including weekend and public holiday..agak2 ga sesuai sama ati rasanya. *gaya gw selangit! -tampar aja!*

Kemaren ini gw di booked untuk jadi MUA di salah satu drama di channel 5, Mediacorp..gw hepi luar biasa bo! Bisa kerja bareng beberapa artist..di hari itu, pake inisial DS (Malaysian) sama YL dan oh my..baik banget loh mereka..

apalagi YL, di touch up dikit..bilangnya " thank u dear, thank u darling, you are so kind, thank u so much, I'm sorry I'm sweating.."
Buset dah, ga usah sopan banget napa..hahahahha..
tapi gile..kita shooting tengah bolong jam 12 siang, puanas pol!
and not even satu komplenan keluar dari mulutnya.
Trus si nona cantik DS, super sopaaaan dan cantik gila!
pas dia mo minta permen gw aja sampe nanya " can i have 2 please? "
trus gw sampe bilang " Dan, why are u so polite? relax.."
Dijawabnya " karena awak orang malaysie " ~ dengan aksen melayunya..
sambil kasih pandangan berarti ke gw,
trus gw yang.."aaaahh...I know wut u mean "

Dan gw lagi mulai buka private class untuk make up nih..kemaren Bebek Lita and Angel hazel sudah menjadi client ku, foto-fotonya kalo mo liat..coba di request ke yang bersangkutan aja..karena aku sudah agree sama term and conditions untuk engga pamerin fotonya. Lalu menyusul lagi ada 3 orang lagi atur waktunya untuk ambil private class denganku..ayo siapa lagi yang mau booking?

I got one awesome interview 2 days ago, It was for Japanese cosmetics MNC.

It's sound so beautiful to me and I was very excited to meet the PIC to discuss further on how I suits the job.

Basically he said " You are a strong candidate and I only recommended you to this MNC, there is no other candidate " - Hopefully that is true. Because I want this job.

Doaken saiyah yaaaa.

Kalo gw dapet kerjaan ini, akan gw adain amal ibadah di blog ini..LOL.

Apa coba....

Kata orangnya, company ini ada allowance untuk grooming..$350 tiap bulan!

Bang Arip, kalo aku dapet kerjaan ini..ongkos maintanance kecantikan daku ada yang tanggung loh.

AMIN AMIN AMIN dapet dong!

Revlon New Complexion 2 way cake

Its 2 in 1 cream to powder formula,
not very strong in coverage but its good enough to even out the skin tone and it's very smooth.
Oh, this one feels really light on skin..so if you are looking the "everyday " 2 way cake, you can consider this one..but do not expect a medium-full coverage.

Con: Ugly packaging.

Daiso eyelash

I don't normally complain over Daiso's stuff because it's simply $2..but this one..ermm..just don't buy it.

Liquid eyebrow

We normally wear liquid eyeliner, not eyebrow pencil right?
and here it is..the liquid eyebrow..~~pencil?~~ marker?

I bought dark ash brown color!
and the winning point of this eyebrow stick..you can swim with it..
and it will still stay on your face.

I'm gonna do the water test on my hand..

I put it in running water for couples of minutes..

And it still there..

So, No more alien looking eyebrow on swimming session. :P

The Magnum Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara

I have a very thin and soft eyelashes, and I think this mascara helps a bit in defining my lashes.
But it does make a dramatic change on my lower lashes.

Boots Lip liner

Anybody loving this brand?

I think it's cheap and it's good,

If you notice..I used to use the Dry Shampoo from this brand as well..

Bought it back in Bangkok.

And this time, my Thai friend went back to Thailand and I requested her to get me the lip pencil and for total of this 2 lip liner, she charged me $17. I don't know how much they are selling in Thailand, from the website it s actually half of the price. Anyway, here are the 2 colors..

Ini postingan bakal panjang aje, tahan tahan ya..

Few stuff to share on this crazy and hectic week!

Valentines day, my birthday, the photoshots for this high end socialita and the musical performance,

that was all for my last week schedule.

I'm tired and feel blessed still.

Before I share my birthday photos, birthday brunch and birthday dinner, I wanna share this little love i found lately.

1. This Velcro whatever..

to hold your hair when you are doing your make up or washing your face.

The photo below was taken after I wash my face and whipping my hair to the front and back, look at the velcro..it's still hanging on strong there on my fringe. LOL

2. Wisteria collection from Crabtree and Evelyn.

I got this from Arief's cousin, Yessy. She got this lovely smell of soap and other products for me. (thanks babe)

Do we have Wisteria collection in Singapore Crabtree & Evelyn?

This whole little package smells so floral (obviously) and fresh in the same time.

I love it!

3. OPI shatter nail polish

I got this from the sweet sweet Rebecca, thank u dear! Love the color.

I really like the red shades on my skin.

4. New D300
It's second hand camera..and my new love!

Next, my 28th birthday.
Quiet and all about food.

I didn't do any party or celebration, just a little cutting cake after midnight..
this is kinda my and Arief's tradition since we moved to Singapore and I hope to keep continue doing this every year.

I picked this cake and loving it.

I'm thankful for my life.

For the love and the opportunity I have

And for all the friends and "friends" that comes and go in my life.

Went for interview as make up artist to one of the quite awesome local production house.

And without " so tell me about yourself " as the first question, immediately the interviewer goes like " do you have your portfolio with u? "

Then i was like " yeah.." taking out my ipad and showed him wut i have in hand. *nervous...waiting..and ..waiting..* and finally he said

" u are very talented! But i'm affraid this post is not something that you look forward to do..i can see you with ur talent could go far and more than just doing make up for photoshots..maximum you will stay for one year just to build your contacts and start expanding your freelance job"

Seneng bener loh pas denger komennya..:)

Tapi in the same time..Gw shock bo! Blak blak an amat ni producer..and gw lebih shock lagi pas gw liat pay scheme for junior MUA nya..its so so low..even lower than admin job. Dan pas gw kasih tau arip the pay..he was like " rendah amaaaaat!!! " ~ sedih dah ~

Kalo mo dibandingin..gaji gw 2 hari freelance di bulan ini = 2 minggu gaji in house MUA di company ini.
O_o'

When he saw my hesitation on the number..The producer offered me a " freelance " position for now and another advise like " why don't you go for more experience and come back here as senior MUA so we can talk again on the pay scheme ?" hemmm..interesting..

And i met one model during the interview, damn gorgeous guy! A very unique features Mix caucassian and oriental look. Woow!

Little happiness and the look!

I feel blessed and loved by God and people, and I am so thankful for every little happiness that happens in my life.

Just like a simple email from Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine that send me a gorgeous invitation of *one of my favorite brand* launching! It does put a smile on my face.

"Maybe some of u are one famous blogger that might be raising ur eyebrow by reading this and said

"really..happy over this lil invitation? I got it all the time"

Well, Good on ya!
but yes to me it's the first time receiving launching invitation in a fashion world,
eventho I couldn't attend it, I still feel happy because my little humble blog gives me the opportunity to be recognized by Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine.

Am I being over reacted? maybe!
But when your turn is come, you will know how it feel
and for the famous blogger..u do remember how u felt back then.

So I feel love is in the air..

Now, here it goes..

The purplish Valentines day look!

At first, I'm not so sure about the color on my eyes!

Purple? hemmm...*not a real fans of purple*

So I just tried to do the look and I end up loving it, so please welcome my purplish
Valentines look.

I'm sorry for the tired looking eyes, I've been having trouble in sleeping for the last one week.
And I guess it's pretty obvious on this picture.

To start the look, I put my Kryolan orange stick around my eyes to cover my super serious dark circle and it's not covering really well..damn! I need 13 hours of sleep I gez. T_T

After the concealer, I put my Revlon Photoready in 003 shell and set it with Revlon photoready powder in light/fair.

Next, I take a very solid matte purple eyeshadow and apply it at the corner of my eyes with a flat brush, start blend the color towards half of your eyes and on your lower lid close to your lash line as well.

Then I'll go for the same purple shades with 3-4 tone lighter to blend it towards my inner corner.

I choose a shimmery light gold color for my inner corner, because I want to make my eyes look brighter and less tired.

Do highlight your brow bone and blend it downward a bit towards the purple color.

Frame your upper lashline with a black eyeliner in crayon form so it's easier for you to blend it.

We want it make it slightly smokey to avoid the purple candy color for your date night.

This look, was my 2nd attempt to do the purplish look..and I create a sharper shape at the end of the eyes. I'll show the rounder shape that I did on my first attempt at the end of this posting.

Choose your favorite fake eyelash and u're done with the eyes!

Choose a fresh blush color to compliment the look,

don't go for something that is too pinkish or too peachy.

Keep the lips simple and natural.

I use only lipbalm on this look.

Man, I'm seriously look like I just wake up and apply make up.

Oh, do contour and highlight if you have a flat feature like mine..trust me..it helps ^^

And these pictures below, are the 1st attempt that I did.

The exact same color with a little different in blending and the eyeshadow shape.

This simple things bring happiness to me.

Looxperiments had me for their #Looxtalk session last friday 3rd Feb 2012, and so just you know Looxperiments is one of the Indonesian beauty blogger community that share the passion of make up and beauty through their blog. Their review and tips are the things that I always look forward to, and also the make up challenge.

Anyway,

We had a unique interview through Twitter.

How awesome it was?

And soon after the interview, they are super kind to post it on their blog too.

Technology changes everything I gez ^^

The interview mostly about my passion in make up and why I let go my job to pursue it..

I know that for some people, this might seems like a little thing..but it means a lot for me, to share it with people that are in my shoes..and I hope my story could inspire them.

Whether it turned out good or bad, at least I have tried it..and I have no regrets.

I am pursuing something that I know I'm good at and hope it will be excellent someday, and I wish people could support me in expanding my creativity.

Kita masuk bus, trus duduk di paling belakang..ga lama..kedengeran..

Idiot 1 (duduk di belakang idiot 2): Eh, hape gw uda dirapiin loh..! liat deh!

Idiot 2 (duduk di sebelah matthew-di bagian dalem): mana mana? *sambil muter badan ke belakang*

Idiot 1: Sini, lu pindah aja deh ke sebelah gw..gw males kalo ada orang laen yg duduk di sebelah gw!

Idiot 2: Gimana? sebelah gw ada orang (matthew) nih!

Idiot 1: lu berdiri ajee..nanti juga orangnya minggir!

Idiot 2: *bingung sesaat* ga usah deh, gpp.

Remarks: gebleg! kalo ga ada yg mo duduk sebelahan ma orang asing..kenapa awalnya bus kosong lu pada ber3 duduk misah misah coba?

I found new love!

Seriously, this is pretty affordable and good quality!

I like the medium to full coverage that can be build up for photo shoots or even for a daily use.
Though the product is a bit shimmery, it is still tolerable and in fact it gives
the " glowing effect " on my face.

And because I have more to dry skin condition lately , I like to use this without any loose powder.

Just keep it simply glowing on my face. ^^

Anybody tried this product before? DO you like it?

I also tried my new contact lens from:

This is how it look like on my eyes.

And this is after " make up " look, using the lens and Revlon photo ready foundation.

And this Revlon colorstay in PINK INDULGENCE lipstick with SG background as bonus :P

The weird things about the color, it turns a bit pale on my lips instead of my hands.

I wonder why?!

Oh, about the make up..I tried fun eyeliner this time.

Red lippy for Chinese new year?

This posting is only about red lipstick and camwhoring session ^^

I've Been lazy to blog lately, and I cudn't find any interest things to blog about nowadays.

Only that I am so grateful, after the ungrateful friend that left me..

Ke gundah dan galau-an gw sedikit berkurang dengan cara terus terusan berdoa..^^

Gw ga jadi lebih suci dan tetep maki maki orang aneh nan ajaib..tapi se-engganya gw jadi makin merasa

gw ga pernah ditinggalin sama Tuhan, dan cara Tuhan tetep memenuhi kebutuhan gw dengan caranya yang unik. :P

Tapi gw juga mo komplen soal si FOXY lady yang rasanya pengen gw tampol jidatnya.

Pernah ga sih nemu orang yang mau tau banget soal urusan lu..tapi kalo pas giliran dia ditanya langsung nge-les en diem seribu bahasa? dan mulutnya bisa bercabang cabang coba..dan konyolnya dia pikir dia smart enough to hide it sampe orang laen ga tau kalo dia foxy..*roll eyes*
Dimana mana bau busuk bakal kecium euy.

Anyway, I have posted this red lippy look on my facebook and twitter..and received email on how to achieve that look, so eventhough nobody email me about how to do it..I will still post it anyway..^^

I will start with this half done face photo of mine and I have pasted the eyelid tape to my lid.

Next, the big circle lens..and draw the eyebrow.

For this look, I applied this solid black kajal pencil on my lid (on top of my eyelid sticker)

Just fillin' it up
The purpose of me applying kajal before the black eyeshadow is just to make it darken.

With this Maybeline diamond Hyper Diamonds collection, I apply the black color on top of my kajal area.

All the way down to the lower lid and frame your eyes.

The next eyeshadow i'm using is this PEPPER color from Kryolan eyeshadow pallete, or actually you can use any color you like..

Apply it all over the lid up to the crease area,
and take any loose powder to blend it well up to brow bone. Just to soften the line.

Choose a thicker lashes to make your eyelash look fuller.

Apply the red lipstick (or lip pencil in my case- Kryolan 1091/122) + blusher (Bobbi brown-Blushed)
And done!

Personally I think this look is pretty glam for daily make up, but it's nice if you wanna have a different kind of look when you out with your boyfriend or husband for a weekend dinner.

Just put on a simple black dress or even a simple top with skinny jeans and heels.
This look still looks classy and up do in any ways..Happy trying ^^

Gw bingung mo mulai buka postingan ini gimana..gw lagi #Galau!

Halah banget ya? hahahaha..sungguh galau sampe ya malem2 pas lagi di depan komputer, gw nangis netesin aer mata coba..*padahal ga lagi mo dapet* ya ampun banget kan?

atopun kirim barang-barang kecil kayak timbangan kue, kukusan dim sum, kuali, plastik utk nyetak kue, dan hal hal kecil laennya yang pernah kita ngomongin tapi ga pernah gw minta..dia inget percakapan kita dan pas dia ketemu barangnya, langsung dikirim.

Dan kemaren tiba-tiba gw dapet kado cantik lagi dari mama baru ku, dia sms bilang

" mama ada beliin sabun mandi (bar soap) dari Melbourne, jangan disimpan kelamaan nanti bau nya ilang "

Haduh..gw seneng euy..

Wangi pisan!

Dan pas kemaren gw jalan jalan ke Paragon, gw liat di SG dijual dengan harga $17 sebatang!

Aje gila! Gw sama dedenya Arip sampe bengong liat harganya trus gw poto en kirim ke si Mama.

Oh my, makasi ya Ma! ^^

Lalu, aku mo pamer rambut baru!!

Pendek ya bo?

Dan gw masi bingung ni rambut enaknya diapain buat sehari hari..pas di foto ini, gw kriwil kriwil pake 1 inch hair curler..dan hasilnya gini..kalo engga mah, flat rata lurus. Boring.

Always start with a clean face:

Apply the powder, draw your eyebrow, and start creating a cat line on your eyelid.

Then fill the line up and connect the end line to lower eyeliner.

Apply the bronzer and the lipstick.

And you're done!

Selamat taon baru semua!!

Malem taon baru pada ngapain?

gw cuma steamboat-an di rumah sama liat kembang api marina bay dari balkon.

Taon baru ini ga ada hingar bingarnya, cuma ber 4..

Arip, gw, henny sama Lili.

Makan ampe sesek, maen kartu, nonton kembang api

dan ditutup sama after midnite movie di rumah..selimutan di sofa kayak teri lalu bobo.

Ternyata enak yah lenje lenje di rumah sama temen temen deket en walopun cuma ber 4, gw ga ngerasa basi ato bosen sama sekali..unlike taon lalu..yang rasanya ampun basi banget..-_-'

Taon ini,

Setelah April, gw rencana mo punya baby..

*kalo mak gw baca blog ini bakalan girang setengah mati deh dia, secara dia sekarang uda bosen sama gw..uda ga ada yang bisa di kepo-in lagi..hahaha..*

Gw pengen banget punya baby cewek,

tapi langsung dikasih tatapin sinis ma Arip trus bilang

" kamu sexist ih, nanti kalo anak cowok ga disayang lagi.."

Yah ga gitu juga kali yah, wajar ga sih kalo gw pengen anak perempuan?

biar bisa gw dandanin lucu lucu..bando bando, rok tutu dll..lucu kan?

Tapi kata arip anak laki juga bisa di dandanin

" pake beanies, kalung dollar..hip hop-an "

err..anak gw bukan "black" lah ya dan pasti putih bener..

karena gw putih dan arip lebih putih dari gw.

It's pretty simple, I clean my face with a cotton pad and see this..

Foundation, eye shadow, even eyeliner and mascara..All gone!
This cannot be real..especially my waterproof mascara!

One more thing that I love the most is:

It didn't dry up your skin at all..
I've been using up to 1/2 of the sample bottle now and still love it.

X'mas dinner FOTD ^^

I'm gonna have my X'mas dinner tonite!!

And we decided to do a little dress up for the dinner..and I was thinking to do my x'mas make up too!

*ga ada hubungannya seh!*

Hehehhe..

And I did a little tutorial on how to get this look as well.

Always start with a clean face.

Apply moisturizer before any make up, today..I'm using Lane'ige.

And I'm using this orange cream camuflage for my dark circle.

I know it's not a typical concealer that we see in the make up counter, but this orange color actually covers the dark circle or any dark spot on our face nicely.

I'm, using Kryolan TV stick ~ orange.

Apply the foundation all over the face but leave the eye area .

Then I take my ivory stick~ again from Kryolan to cover the eye area.

This is how it's look, the before and after applying Ivory stick.

It is actually helps to brighten the eye area as well.

Once you got the coverage that you want,

seal the make up with pressed powder/translucent powder.

Mine, Mac sheer pressed powder that has 2 shades darker than my skin. ^^

Then start drawing your eyebrow if you have less hair like mine

or comb it if you are blessed with a thick and perfect shape of the eyebrow.

Next, choose your eyelashes. Adjust and cut according to your eye length.

I really love fake eyelash effect on my eyes.

It's create the double eyelid and it's like open up my small eyes.

I do apply a thin line of eyeliner really close to my lashes before I put my falsie,

I just prefer it that way. ^^

If you notice, I put my falsie first before my eyeshadow..where usually people do the eyeshadow first the the falsie, but like I told you..falsie creates a different eye shape for me so it is easier for me to find my crease and lid after the falsie on it.

For today's look,

I chose this warm brown color to create a deep set eyes on my outer side.

And a light shimmery gold color on the inner side of my eyes.

This is where I apply the warm brown color on the outer side,

and just fill the gold color on the inner side afterwards.

No gold color applied on my lid yet.

After the warm brown and gold color are applied on the eyes.

I used dark grey eyeshadow on my half outer eyes and blend it upward towards the warm brown eyeshadow area and blend it over the warm brown color softly.

For the cheek,

I use my contouring powder to creates a high cheekbone and just blend to soften the line.

And lips,

light pink for me.

Done!

This year so far was indeed the best year in my life!

I've been through lotsa things start from the beginning of the year where I was preparing my wedding and there are people that being pain in the ass and end up gained nothing, my decision in quitting my job to pursue my passion, and having the lowest point of my personal bank account ever.

But as always..God is Good! All the time..

There were rough time in the beginning of the year..but it's getting sweeter towards the end.

Lets start with the make up skill (teteup yoo), I (again) never been so proud of myself to be able to create a special effect make up and even a creative make up look, but at this point..look at this!

My 2012 resolutions for beauty section gonna be:

Finally..I'm back!

Today, officially my last day class in taking Diploma in professional make up artistry!

I'm happy that I finally made it to the very end..and looking forward for my exam day and portfolio day on this coming Friday and Saturday.

It's been a new milestone for me, and I never been so proud of myself like I am now..

I know it may sound so narcissistic

, but just let me enjoy this feeling a little longer..

It's been a while since I felt the satisfaction within me.

It's simply because when I started this class, I come with a basic beauty skill in my pocket,

the most I can do is smokey eyes and other basic make up like my pics below..

But soon after I'm on, for stage and special effect make up,
I start falling in love (again) with art world that I used to live in before.
It's sooo beautiful!

Like when I did this Chinese opera make up, I was so nervous..I'm scared of the wrong stroke I did that gonna messed up the whole look. But when I manage to complete this look..I was like..Oh my..I actually can do this!!

Btw, this is me.

And..when..I thought putting a mask is quite easy..it's apparently not ^^

But the worst part is the cleaning time!

I enjoyed putting make up on my face, but i hate it when it's time to remove it.

Ini postingan sih ga penting *kapan postingan gw pernah penting coba?* cuma foto-foto narsis gw lelompatan di pantai.

Rebo kemaren, ceritanya eke lenongin orang pre wed di Sentosa..dan pas couple nya ganti baju, gw mikir..pengen difotoin lompat sambil bawa payung ala ini..

Jadi gw ambil props nya tu payung en Ci Meilany dari

dengan baik hatinya potoin gw!

Dan ini hasilnya:

Aduuu..cihui ati girang bukan kepalang pas gw liat hasilnya. Makasih ya Ci ^^

Dan tentunya, kadung lah ya kalo cuma lompat sekali doang..kesian kameranya nganggur,

jadinya kita bikin lompat lompatan laennya lagi..

Dan sungguh, ini gw lompat di udaranya cuma 1 detik kali paling lama..tapi semuanya ke capture dengan rapinya. Sungguh mantep teknik motonya. Aku sukalah.

This was supposed to be seen from a distance, as far as Opera theater or some concert hall.

Not really fancy for the up close look like this.

But I'm sharing this look anyway..^^

This pic was taken during my make class, where we supposed to do a Stage make up for Guy!

We don't have guy in the class, so we are using our face (trying hard to create the look).

I think I look like a typical Chinese bastard looking guy. I dunno, just saying.

Tapi yang pasti, gw keliatan kayak banci meeeen!!!

Ga berenti ngakak di kelas pas semua pada ngaca..oh my..oh my!

And this pic below..looks even weird ^^

I put the black enamel coating on my teeth, to make it look nasty..

and when I requested my cousin to show it to my mum, her reaction was as expected..

She was expecting me looking at least pretty-pretty, definitely not this look!

but she somehow proud of my work so far.

Thank God.

And I actually quite surprise of how it turned out as well.

Can't wait for the special effect class soon!!

Ziggy ziggy brow

As always,

boredom can actually means inspiration for me.

I was lying on my bed with The vampire diaries on my screen,

and my heart to Damon salvatore *ehem*, and suddenly I notice Damon's eyebrow that is so thick and dark..and I was curious on how I look like with a super thick and dark brow, so I start drawing it thick and modify the look with the Zig zag effect.

And for this look, I keep it dark and mysterious.

I dunno about the mysterious part though..I'm just trying to look like one.

After I use the foundation all over my face,

I start with drawing my eyebrow to the shape in the picture.

And start putting dark olive color eyeshadow on my eyelid up to the crease and keep it there.

Next, I applied black eyeshadow at the corner of my eyes and start blending it in.

Then I put the top and below fake eyelash

(You might want to find the dramatic lashes for this look)

And keep it super simple lips with nude color.

Done!

* I didn't do any photoshop on the facial features*

And as always,

I will put my silly face before the make up to show a little bit of power of make up.

Midnite inspiration..

Literally at 12ish am, I took out all my make up stuff and start creating look.

I know it may sounds like I don't have anything better to do..but when the inspiration starts kickin' in..
I just couldn't stop, and I may say..I love how it turned out.

I bought this cute lashes back in Indonesia, and I take the inspiration from Angler fish with this lantern on their head..
so I'll go with the dark shades like deep metallic blue and purple.

The only thing I regret about this look is my blending technique, I should've blend it even more.

T_T

And the second look,

I think it's quite easy to guess, yes! It's peacock feather inspired.

*Still with the same lashes*

Hope to create more interesting look in the future!

Btw, when I sent this to my friend..just to show off my new skill..she just like
"no way! I don't believe it's your artworks"
..and I had one bloody hard time to convince her that this is my eyes
and I did it myself!

It's been a hectic yet interesting months for me.

Life has been different compare to the office life I had before,

I gained my free time with $0 income and I gained my excitement in life.

It's beautiful to finally feel excited about passion and art again..I miss u art world.

I'm wishing myself a huge success in the new career path I chose.

No regret. Just pure passion.

Uda sebulan aja loh gw sekolah lenong ini, gw makin jago apa kaga? gw ga tau..

yang pasti koleksi brush gw dari yang tadinya 2 batang..sekarang brush gw ada 22 batang.

Buset dah, ada aja perlu brush yang beda untuk sudut yang beda pula.

Tadinya kalo lenongan gw kan pake tangan aja yah coel coel ke muka sendiri, ga ada yang komplen sama sekali..nah gara2 tutor gw itu hygiene freak, gw jadi kutan so bersih..sampe sampe ga ada yang poles ke muka gw pake tangan. Segala macem itu kuas, sepon, apalah gw bawa ke kamar mandi untuk dandan.

Hasilnya? gw dandan makin lamaaaaaa..ahhahahahha..

Tapi jadi makin rapih rasanya. *pede jaya*

Trus minggu lalu, gw mulai lenongin client untuk pre-wedding shot disini

dan gw menemukan titik kepuasan batin gw pas gw liat muka si calon bride cantik kinclong setelah make up en hasil photonya juga bagus banget..*duuuh, perasaan ini tuh bikin gw tidur nyenyak deh*

Tapi kalo pas gw sendiri ga puas sama hasilnya, matilaaaaa..gw ga bisa tidur sampe subuh mikirin kenapa hasil tangan gw ga perfect yaaaaa, aduh coba tadi gini aduh coba tadi gitu..*kapok*

Padahal client nya sih hepi2 aja bilang " I love it "

Tapi tetep aja!

Doain yah semoga ke depannya eke laris manis jadi tukang lenong ^^

Trus 2 minggu lalu gw ada exam, les lenong ada exam?

Ada bener!! bukan final exam sih..jadi pas abis modul bride gitu..ada exam nya, dan gw dapet full score untuk total outlooknya..*bangga*

Pas tutor gw bilang " this is sooo beautiful "

~ gw di samping modelnya cuma senyum senyum puas pol!

Sialnya model gw tuh dapetnya si orang phi phi itu..*kualat abis ga gw?*

( Dan gw keki pol pas gw dandanin ni orang, karena setiap kita kan perlu set up make up table nya jadi biar yang exam bisa pake produk2 kita yang uda di set.)

Nah ni orang yah, barang2 dia semua masi di make up box coba, gw tanya " mana lip balm? " "mana white eyeliner?" " mana shimmer? " SEMUANYA di box!

Dan kita cuma dapet 1 jam to complete the look sampe perfect and detail.

Kalo gw grabak grubuk sendiri cari barang di box kan buang waktu gw.

Bener2 ga tau dia sengaja ato engga.

Trus herannya waktu hasil lenong gw dibilang beautiful,

dia nya nyaut " yes, it's beautiful..i agree "

Gw bingung dong, tumben bener ni orang mo ngakuin hasil karya orang laen yang bagus..

ternyata bener, pas tutor gw kasih full score ke gw,

dia nyeletuk " I know my face looks good on make up "

Kua kua..

jadi menurut dia, dandanan gw mah biasa aja..

tapi karena muka dia looks good on make up jadinya overall look nya perfect.

Itu aja sekitar perlenongan, selebihnya..idupku bahagia..bangun tidur, ~~mandi~~, beres2, ke kelas, lunch, pulang, buat assignment (ho oh gw ada assignment, assignmentnya bikin make up look), masak buat arip, dinner, bobo. Yang ga bikin bahagianya adalah ga bisa shopping, padahal sale bertebaran dimana mana..duit gw abis buat beli brush, 120 eyeshadow pallete, 10 blush on dll.

Nanti aku pamer alat2 make up ku. *sapa yang minta coba? emang ga ada, tapi aku mau pamer aja*

On my last trip to new Zealand, I bought quite a lot of Wild Ferns products.
I bought it for my mum, cousin, and myself.

At first, I kinda doubt this brand cause it's kinda cheap compare to body shop or any other local brand.
So I did a research on the brand ^^

And here's what I found.
So basically they are been around for 20 years and this is what they say about their ingredients:

And I fell in love with the smell of Manuka Honey, which super awesome when I found that:

I'm gonna share a little review of the facial wash
(and soon, the facial scrub, body lotion, night rich cream and lip balm)
~I know I'm so crazy over this brand now ~

Too bad, they don't sell it here in Singapore.

This is the packaging,
Warning: the moment you open the cap,
you just wanna drink the whole bottle of it cause it smells soooo freaking yummy.

And when you pump it out, It comes the most yummy smell facial foam ever!

Love it.

And for me, I love the non-soapy kind of facial cleanser.

Cause I have this things about

" facial foam get into my eyes " kind of situation before.

And that caused bloody irritation on my eyes.

T_T

And this product, so awesome on that department.

You don't see it right? Me neither.

So I tried to put water and rubbed my face to see is there any bubble comes out or not.

Yes, they have the foamy kind of texture out and I immediately took my camera and snapped it

This is what I got, the foam have been absorbed to my skin or whatever..it's gone.

Ou yeah!

Done!

I have a sweet honey smell on my face, and it's make my skin fresh and tight.

One more thing,
if you have a damn oily facial situation..this product might be a little solution for you.
It helps on my T zone area a lot.

Oh btw, this is not a paid review..

I'm just sharing it just in case you wanna lick yourself tonight,

remember the smell is so addictive. *wink*

I noticed this silly yet hilarious syndrome of the supporters for

football/soccer, rugby, and even cricket team in the world cup.

When the favorite team win the game,

the supporters start updating their facebook or tweets with

" WE won! "

But when the fav team lose, they updating their social network with

" They play fair "

"They did stupid mistake"

" The referee being unfair to them"

"They are stupid!!"

Where is the "WE" word?

I'm so loving this look.

You know, sometimes we want to have make up on our face

but we want to make it as if there's no make up and yet we still look good and glowing?

If you are nodding while reading this, this is the make up look that suits u well.

The nude look.

Start with your foundation, powder and trim your eyebrow neatly.

Then, you gonna need:

Contouring powder/blush

I use this Kryolan contouring powder that has like 4 shade darker than my skin.

Brown/Nude color eyeshadow with a little shimmer will be great.

I use Mac All that glitters Veluxe Pearl

Nude color lipstick and clear lipgloss.
I use Maybeline natural nude 945 and H&M lipgloss

And an eyeliner (gel/liquid/pencil)- up to you

I use Kryolan liquid liner

And this look is seriously easy look, cause there's no technique in putting the eyeshadow or whatsoever.

Simply apply the base eyeshadow on your entire eyelid, then put the brown eyeshadow on it but keep the eyebrow bone clear.

Stick your fake eyelash and line it with thin eyeliner.

Done for the eyes.

And for this "no make up" make up, I apply a thin layer of foundation only because I don't want to look too done up for a daily make up, and I apply contouring powder below my cheekbone to create a little shape on my chubby face and finish up my look by putting the lipstick and lipgloss.

I put white eyeliner on my below waterline, but this is not a must..
It help to create a bigger eye illusion only.

Done!

I got this Maybeline pallete on my birthday, but I just recently use it for my make up class.

The swatches on my hand:

Top: With Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion

Below: Without any primer

I really think this eyeshadow has a beautiful color, but It need to be apply after the primer.

Or else, the color just not so sparkling.

Yesterday, I decided to make a little look with this palette using only the darkest black and the highlight.

And for the lips, I'm using Maybeline Pink peach P32.

I kinda like this look for evening date out or dinner with girlfriends.
It's light smokey with a bit of bright lipstick and super super light peachy blush.
I use a very very thin eyeliner near my fake eyelash line to enhance the eyes.

And for the foundation, I use Kryolan camouflage creme.

Oh btw,

Me before make up. No photoshop on the face feature.
Just big circle lens, make up and some serious posing ^^

By this time, i should've sleep deeply to my lala land..but something just bothers me to the max! I think for those people who hang out with me, they will know that I hate people that love to show off and think they fit into socialita life.

If u are a real socialita, u don't have to say a word! Ur total appearance will say it all. Its way more than a bag (fake bag) u carry or what (who's) husband do u sleep with! When u carry hermes bag, step on jimmy choo shoes and gucci shades..it doesn't mean..u are a socialites that own the world and eligible to look down on others.
U asshole!

These annoying feeling i got everytime i see people acting like the mentioned above! Pleaseeee...

And me,

I don't carry branded stuff..but it doesn't mean I am poor and u can look down on me.
I don't carry prada bag, but i could afford the class that cost 2-3 prada bags! So, Am i poor?

I don't walk with jimmy choo or louboutin, but i could afford a holiday that cost 8 pairs of it. Still poor?

People, just learn to respect each other..and do not judge the book by its cover. U never know what's hidden on their closet! And when they don't show it, it doesn't mean they don't have it. Maybe they choose to keep it low profile.

Tips for day to night make up ^^

It's been a while since my last entry on make up tutorial thingy, and this time I'm sharing out about

Contour and highlight

As well as

Day to night make up

Let's get started!

Always start with a clean fresh face, moisturized it and leave it for couple of minutes until the moisturizer absorb well in our skin.

Then start with concealing and foundation to prime our face up.

Note:

Whenever we want to do any contouring on our face..

do apply a thicker layer for the foundation, because we gonna need to do the blending process.

You might start asking, why we do contouring and highlight?

Why don't we skip this step and continue the regime?

Yes! you may skip this step if you satisfy with your face feature,

because contouring helps to tone down the part of our face that we don't want people to notice.

Let say, you have a chubby round cheek and super round face..

and I believe all the ladies in some way or another we want to look slimmer, leaner,

and of course we want to looks good.

Here comes the role of the contouring, we contour the chubby area to create shadow

and when it comes to "shadow", it becomes less noticeable.

And to the area that we want people to notice, we put highlights in contradict.

When we finish doing contour and highlight on our face, you will see some dimension on the face.

So next question?

How to find the right color for your contour and highlight?

Easy!

Contour = shadow = darker

Highlight = shine = lighter

For this tutorial, I'm using the most two extreme colors on my Kryolan camuflage foundation pallette.

If you don't have this pallette, don't worry..use a darker foundation that goes 2-3 shades darker than your skin for the contour and a highlighter cream for the highlight.

For my face, I have a very strong cheekbone on my left side of face

and a slightly rounder on the right side. And I like to look a bit slimmer on my face, so here how I contour my face.

Start at point A (center part of your ear), draw a line to point B,

and stop at the meeting point of C ( corner of your eyes) and B, and from there draw a line towards your chin and fill up with few stroke of the contour cream on the yellow line.

This line will create a slimmer dimension on my face and a high cheekbone effect.

As for the eyes and nose part,

I put quite a thick layer on the eyes as I want it to visible as a eyeshadow for my make up

and slightly thin layer on the nose bridge area.

Use sponge to blend it.

Blend. Do not Rub.

When you done with the blending, you will have this kind of dirty effect on your face.
Leave it.

Move on to the highlight.

Think butterfly.

Draw butterfly on your face.

And blend it well.

Once we done with the blending,

check again on the part that we want to contour more or highlight more.

If it's ok, put a thin translucent powder and dab it all over your face.

And Bye-bye glossy face. Matte finishing is what you got.

We are done with the basic steps.

For the today day look, I want to keep it as simple as possible.

Fake lashes, soft blush on the cheek and pink lipstick.

No eyeliner.

*always trim your eyebrow neat*

And you're done with Day look.

Go hang out and have fun with your girlfriends or even date with your loved one.

Sometimes, we need to attend some wedding party at night

and you just don't have the time to go to Salon or even Re-do your make up.

Always keep eyeliner in your little make up pouch.

And Night look is only 2 lines away!

All you need is black eyeliner and darker shade of solid color lipstick

or maybe red if you feel comfortable with it.

Off you go!

Aku jalan dari Singapore-Auckland-Christchurch-Lake Tekapo-Wanaka-Queenstown-Auckland (Hobbiton-Rotorua: Agrodome, Polynesian Spa, Whakarewarewa, Glow worm cave)-Auckland-Singapore.

Yang Whakarewarewa en glow worm cave baru mau akiu tulis disini Di ^^

Kalo misalnya ada waktu di Rotorua, mampir deh ke Whakarewarewa..I think this is a wonderful place to visit. Jadi di tempat ini tuh semua berbau Maori-suku asli New Zealand, dan uniknya..semuanya tradisional mentok. Dari rumahnya, kamar mandinya, cara masaknya dan juga ditunjukin lagu-lagu en dance tradisionalnya.

" Te Whakarewarewatanga O Te Ope Taua A Wahiao"

meaning "The uprising of the warriors (war party) of Wahiao".

Set amidst a landscape of erupting geothermal activity, hot thermal springs and hot bubbling mud pools is the living thermal village of Whakarewarewa, situated in the heart of the tourist diamond of Rotorua.

Dan ini satu komplek asep semua jek!

Rumah pertama yang dibangun sama suku Maori, cuma dari batang pohon aja.

Disini mereka rebus kerang, jagung en makanan laennya.

1. Gw sering ganti cita-cita

Oh oww No1:

Being a professional make up artist is not an easy job!
Hari ini hari ke 4 gw ikut kelasnya, en gw mulai mabok euy..banyak teori2 superb yang mesti gw apalin tiap malem. En banyak Do's and don't nya in every single things yang kita apply di muka. Dan yah, gw hari ini belajar..salah satu goresan aja di alis bisa bikin seluruh muka beda. T_T

Buat gw yang apapun gw poles pake jari, mulai pake brush en sponge bikin gw mayan kagok euy.
En tutor gw tuh saban hari teriak " hygiene hygiene ladies!!! "
Aer putih, mint, cologne harus selalu di tas. Rambut di tidy up. Kuku pendek. Baju yang bagus.
Bikin gw tambah kanchiong aja.

En dia selalu dong pas kita dateng diliat penampilan kita, uda presentable belon, tangan uda dicuci belon, poni uda keangkat rapi belon, rambut aut2an kaga, buset dah! berasa masuk ruang bedah siap bedah orang..mo jadi tukang lenong susah amat yak! Tapi bikin gw realise..first impression itu penting bo as make up artist.

Doakanlah sayaaa, semoga saya lulus dengan nilai memuaskan di akhir sekolah gw nanti.

Oh oww No2:

Tukang pamer dimana pun dan kapan pun selalu nongol yeh di idup gw. Heran.
*gw tau gw juga tukang pamer, tapi kan gw at least pamer poto ya bukan pamer harta.* ^_^

Hari pertama gw masuk sekolah ketemu ma ini satu orang asal Phi-phi, Ampun dah bo..di hari pertama aja gw uda tau kalo dia itu:

- uda 6 taon tinggal di SG, suaminya orang belande,
- anak 2,
- dia tinggal di condominium,
- bawa mobil suaminya kl suaminya business trip,
- *ngakunya suka nongkrong di tempat mahal* padahal cuma coffee bean aja,
- having sex pake condom itu boring,
- dirinya gendut karena pil KB, dan kulitnya item bukan karena dia item tapi karena dia berenang,
- dia ga suka ke lucky plaza karena tempatnya kotor jorok dan low class *oh please* -dia orang phi-phi gitu loh..lucky plaza itu kan sarangnya-,
- cuma mo makan di resto coz it's cheap dibanding sama fine dining.
- punya semua produk make up merek shu eumura

Dan dihari pertama itu gw sama satu temen gw yang orang SG dibilang kalo kita:
- berdua itu cewek yang penyuka barang murahan (barang murah sama murahan beda loh yah),
- ditanya kenapa kita mau kawin ma laki ASIA *hellow..lu pikir status lu lebih tinggi apa kl lu kawin ma bule?? mental embak phi phi banget seh!*,
- trus kita dibilang perempuan yang uda 2 bulan ga pernah shopping karena kita ga tau burberry ngeluarin make up line,
- lalu apalagi yah? Oh oh..dibilang dia benci sama cara orang cina ngedidik anak *sebagai cina gw tersinggung pol- sok sensi ceritanya*
- trus gw dibilang " lu mirip sama orang korea yah!! itu compliment loh " *lu ga usah ngmg gw juga uda tau* *kibas rambut*

Dan masih banyak lagi..Mabok.com gw.
Setiap hari gw excited ke sekolah untuk belajar, tapi nemu ini perempuan satu males juga..mana ngintil melulu lagi sama gw en temen gw yang orang Sg ini. Dan saban lunch cuma ngebanggain tinggal di condo dan dia nyetir di sg, tapi odongnya kemaren dia bilang ke temen sg gw kalo rumah en mobilnya dia itu cuma nyewa..HALAH! Gw jadi tambah males dengerin dia..gimana dong??? Harusnya sih gw cuekin lah ya..sesuai teori, tapi ya bo..ngedenger suara menggelegar dengan nada ngomong inggris dengan aksen American yang dibuat buat..kuping gw ga tahan juga euy!

I'm back!!
Udah dari kemis kemaren sih :) Cuma gw dong, sok sibuk tidur dan leyeh2 menikmati idup dan weekend. Karena ini weekend terakhir sebelon gw sekolah cui..sekolah ape hari gini?

Aku akan ambil diploma in professional make up artistry! Doakan aku yaaa!!!
Awalnya agak2 serem bo, berenti kerja en malah ambil sekolah lagi..yang berarti $0 income en $xxxx keluar. Oh tidak. *buka dompet itung duit*

Sebenernya kemaren ini gw dapet interview di satu perusahaan gede di SG (kerjaan yang ga pernah gw apply- tapi dapet dr head hunter) yang pas gw liat paket yang mereka offer..bener2 ga bisa gw tolak dan gw uda interview sampe 3x disana. Dan sekarang status gw uda di HR manager, dan kata head hunter gw..chance gw bagus bener. Tapi gw go for make up school dulu, ini yang bikin gw deg2an takut kecewa sama keputusan gw utk ambil sekolah make up kalo sampe ternyata gw dapet kerjaan ini (duit bo!)

Tapi seperti biasa..Tuhan baik, dan selalu baik..semua dilancarin dan semua yang terjadi itu bener2 yang terbaik. Gw tiba2 bertekad buled dan yakin sama keputusan gw. Trus soal financial juga puji Tuhan semua lancar, dan gw mo share..soal yang namanya giving, gw ngeliat banyak orang pelit pedit pada banyak duitnya di bank, tapi ga pernah ngalemin yang namanya financial miracle..they got wut they earned. Udah. Titik.

Tapi gw ngeliat orang yang memberi di dalam kekurangan itu dapet berkat luaaaaar biasa dan diluar apa yang di expect. Gw jadi iri sama orang yang bisa memberi di dalem kekurangan loh..krn gw belon bisa begitu, dan mau supaya bisa gitu..:(

Ah cukup soal sekolah make up ku, pokonya dukung sayaaaa terus ya. Nanti kalo aku udah tambah jago dan professional..dengan brush2ku..akan aku sogok dengan tutorial2 cakep. Hahahahha..*pede jaya* dan per 2012, amin-amin..gw uda mulai bisa jadi professional make up artist. Booking aku yah kalo ada yang pre-wedding di sg ato wedding di sg atopun indo. Aku layani. ^^

Oh trus, kemaren di Jakarta..para mama blogger, pitshu en eke..kopdar-an di central park!!

Another entry for this week before I'm off to my hometown!

I know I'm not a kind of girl that born pretty.

I have a typical Chinese feature, small eyes, freckle face, flat nose and small lips.

Which back then, I hated it.

During my high school time,

I've been thinking and envy those girls who have big dolly eyes and Korean feature.

You know, a kind that when you look at them you hate it because you just couldn't have that look.

I always wish that I can look better and prettier,

when mostly high school boys go for lean body girls, pretty face and long straight hair.

At that stage I was a fat, full braces and flat face.

So I didn't get a privilege of being a famous good looking girls.

I was famous for my sports skill, strong build body and organizational skill.

Far from the dream girl I was trying to be.

Until my college time, I decided to do something on my self.

I start transforming myself to be a kind of girl I'm trying to be. Physically.

I start wearing skirts, fitted tops, grow my hair long and took out my braces.

And I started wearing make up too.

There was an awkward moment for my make up journey, uneven eyeliner,

TOO pinkish blush on and even a wrong shading!

It was disaster.

But I keep going on until I found my signature look.

The look that I wish I found back in high school time.

This look.

I know it looks weird!

So too see it, just cover one of the side to see the natural and updated look.

Any of you ever experience something similar like mine?

If you wanna have this look of mine,

you can start with a big circle lens that enhance your eyes so fabulously.

Then apply one layer of foundation

(mine: MAC NC20)

Then curl your eyelash to open up the eyes, shape and fill up your eyebrow.

Choose your favorite fake eyelash.

(mine: Faceshop)

Then stick it nicely.

Next, take this L'oreal open eyes pallete.

Black color. Frame your eyes,

and to make a longer eyes illusion.. drag it wider that your actual eyes.

I like to put white eyeliner (red earth) on my waterline, it creates a bigger eyes illusion.

And this time, I stick lower fake lashes.

Take this color and apply it on your entire lids (leave your eye bone for highlights)

And this color on 1/3 outer side of your lids and blend it inward and upward to your crease.

Until you got this shade.

Last, frame up your eyes with black eyeliner

and finish it up with natural pink blush and lipgloss/lipbalm.

Because I don't really take shower in the morning,

I sometimes wakes up with a damp hair.

Even if I washed my hair at the night before,

it still sometimes look annoyingly damp in the morning.

And I so bloody hate having my hair looking flat and dirty.

~~But I also feel lazy to take shower in the morning,~~

and yet I still wanna look like I just had a nice shower when i leave the house.

Hehehe..

I know it won't work the way I want it, especially with the oily scalp that I have.

It's too annoying u know..

Any of you feel the way I do?

*just don't tell me to wake up earlier and take a shower*

I do take shower if let say I need to be at somewhere around 10 am,

but if I have to catch bus at 8.15 in the morning..

washing my hair,

shower,

blow dry it,

putting make up

and dress up

seems taking much of my lovely sleep.

I'll prefer to pass that steps.

anyway, I just wanna share my SAVIOR!

Tadaaaaaaaaa..

This is normally how my hair look in the morning.

And this is after I spray it with my lovely Boots dry shampoo.

Instantly dry up those oily scalp and volume up my thin flat hair!

Ou yeaaaa!

I really don't know where to get it in Singapore, I got it at Bangkok Airport for only S$7+

Supaaaaa worth it!

Next,

MY SUPER HAIR SPRAY!

I hate those hair spray that smells like you just get your hair done in some chemical lab

and after few hours it start flaky like u're having dandruff on your hair.

And all this while, I keep looking for a good quality hair spray that smells good with a strong hold power.

I found one!


It makes my hair looks shinny too! I tried to make this Japanese bun, and secure it with only 2 bobby pin and this hair spray!

Clean and tidy!

Love it.

I really really love big circle lens, it's like a cherry on top of ice cream for my make up!

This time I tried something called " GEO LENS " which is quite famous in Korea and most of make up bloggers have review this lens for a good rating.

The only thing is, we can purchase this lens by online only

(I don't know if there's any shop selling this product) and for me buying things online is not something that I'm really comfortable with.

Until I found this website:

And apparently, a lot of blogger bought this GEO lens from them. So i might trust the crowd as well.

They give this little cute casing as a gift ^^

I found this lens a bit stiff and not as comfortable as Freshkon alluring or any daily soft lens.

But it made a huge different on my eyes, see the different?

The party itself was awesome!! but what make it special this time round?

It was on the F1 night!
Super ~~Fucking~~ awesome if I may say!

I LOVE U DBS BLACK

The place, the ambiance, the people, the FREE drink, EVERYTHING!

It just catered so well to the cosmopolitan lifestyle that fit in Singapore nicely.

I love it.

Look at the view!
I know it's kinda warm and damp here in Singapore, but that night..I had a huge tolerant of the weather.
Because, apart from the weather, everything else was perfect.

I love this!

Everybody was literally waiting for the F1 race to start with a LIVE sound effect!
It was so bloody noisy!
But for some of my friend..it was music to their ears.

It was really another nice experience to me,
the first DBS black top party that I attended was at New asia bar, but this one was way more interesting.

I really don't know how to review this product, because it is already awesome.

You just need to buy it and try it yourself.

This is just simply my personal say about the product.

I use this every week, not only on my face but on my neck, behind my ears, elbow, knee, back of my knee, and even my feet.

Maybe that's why it is half full now. ^^

The texture is just like the name " Aqua "

Water based and non sticky type.

I apply small amount of the product on my skin and keep rubbing it until the gel turns into some form of dead skin and keep doing it until the dead skin fall off from my skin.

Can you see the different?

Anybody tried this before?

Btw, if you are in Singapore, you can get it in Watson for $42 a bottle.

Jangan bosen bosen yaaaaa sama foto-foto NZ yang aku pamer ^^

Mumpung gw lagi nganggur nih di rumah, ga ada kerjaan..blogging-an gw bisa pol!

Pas kita uda di Auckland, kita nyetir ke ROTORUA..
kalo di Jakarta, Rotorua ini kira2 bandung nya lah..nyetir sekitar 2 jam-an.

Tapi sebelon sampe ke Rotoruanya, kita mampir ke
HOBBITON

Basically, ini tempat movie set nya LORD OF THE RING yang rumah-rumah hobbit.
Tapi gw ga ikut tournya, soalnya dibilang fotonya ga boleh di donlot di facebook or any media.
gw langsung " lah..aku mo pamer gimana???" Ga jadilah kalo gitu, gw mejeng di depan aja.

Steph, kau pernah kan ambil tour ini? gimana kesan2mu?

Sumpeee gw sok bener, winter winter cuma pake baju begini. Alhasil menggigil sampe ke tulang.

Trus kelar foto-foto seiprit di Hobbiton, kita lanjut ke Rainbow Spring untuk liat KIWI.

Dan disini yah, banyak binatangnya..cuma masuknya aja mahal. Ampir $30 per person.

Pas nyampe..satu kota BAU KENTUT!!!

Kita muter2 nyari Motel en akhirnya dapet 1 yang mayan ok (tapi gw lupa euy nama hotelnya).

En the next day pas kita keluar motel..nemu jalanan berkabut gini.

Sampe si Ari bilang " gw pikir jalan berkabut gini cuma ada di game "

Dan di otak gw malah bikin scenario, dari kabut arah sebrang sono..

jalan satu sosok lelaki ganteng ala Mas (Daniel) Henney ato Edward cullen

dengan tas back pack ditenteng satu sisi en jeans sedikit usang trus di mulut kayak gigit-gigit batang lollipop..trus jalan dengan cool-nya...sambil ngelirik tajam. wedeeeew...

Anyway, Kita nyetir ke AGRODOME.

Disini gw seneng bener, banyak domba..ada anjing..en binatang2 laennya.

En dombanya ada show-show gitu. Fun banget en super recommended buat family.

Pas kita disana, lagi ada tour korea bo! rame pisan ini anak anak korea.

Sayang ga ada oppa oppa ganteng.

Kalo ada, gw " annyong-in " dah sambil pura2 pingsan.

Ini pembawa acara show nya.

En ini dia lagi mau tunjukin cara nyukur bulu domba..sambil jelasin anatomi domba gitu,

trus dia bilang bayaran untuk si penyukur domba itu 70 ato 90 cents per domba (gw lupa).

Trus ada sapi juga, ditunjukin cara milking nya..gw baru tau loh nenen sapi ada 4 doang.

gw pikir kayak kucing, agak banyak gitu.

Trus baby lamb nya juga dibawa naek ke show,

en penontonnya ditunjuk buat nyusuin baby lamb nya.

I think it's really cute.

Kelar show, kita naek trem ini untuk keliling agrodome nya.

Tour guide nya mayan ganteng, blue eyes rambutnya coklat coklat gitu.

Gw demen.

En pas gw lagi liatin dia, dia tanya gw

OG (orang ganteng): " where are u come from? "

Gw jawab: " Indonesia "

OG: oh wow..what language do u speak?

Gw: Bahasa..

Trus kita dibawa ke satu tempat..isinya Illama semua..tanahnya berisi tokai semua.

Jijik pol!

Ada sapi juga, tapi kita ga boleh turun pas bagian sapi.

Ada tatoo Loph di sapi.

Trus dari kejauhan..kita liat ini pohon gersang tapi kok merah merah ya..

Eh, ternyata..ada biji bijian merah.. yang entah ini apaan.

Gayanya aja ke spa..tapi cuma berendem bo, ga sanggup spa-an.

Najis loh mahalnya Spa di NZ! gw ga tau kalo beli voucher di semacam groupon gitu berapa..

tapi harga normalnya bikin gw alergi.

Berendem gini bikin gw turn Hot and cold melulu euy.

Malem kita berendem..suhu udara di luar cum 7 derajat en suhu aernya 39-42 derajat.

Aje gilaaa..pas pindah pindah kolam, rasanya kayak buka freezer trus berdiri di depan oven.

*lagian sapa suruh pindah2 ya..*

Cuman, buat temen2 yang mampir Rotorua..cobalah berendem disini, cobain pas winter.

Bukan di dunia...tapi di kantor yang udah menjadi setengah idup gw di 4.5 taon ini.

Di kantor yang:

uda ngebawa gw keliling negara negara di dunia walo ga jauh2 amat

uda bikin gw berhasil ngumpulin boarding pass sampe hampir 80 lembar

uda nge-gaji gw utk ngebayar duit wedding gw tanpa harus minta sama bonyok gw sama sekali

uda bikin gw jadi sok jago sama skill gw yang sekarang :P

uda bikin gw terbiasa ngomong " ngepet!!" karena saking keselnya!

Tentunya amat sangat gw syukurin, karena uda kasih gw kesempetan untuk tinggal di SG.

Gw bener-bener bersyukur untuk 4.5 taon gw disini,dan gw ga nyesel sama sekali untuk semua yang udah gw alemin di kantor ini

Selesai dari Wanaka Puzzle world, kita mo sok-sok *melakukan aktifitas yang aktif*

Mountain trackign lah kita ke Mt. Iron!

aje gile...nanjaknya tinggi euy,

trus panaaaas bener mataharinya en dingin bener anginnya.

Gw sampe bingung mesti gimana.

Dan gw, yang pertamanya pikir fisik gw masih fit banget kayak sepuluh taon yang lalu harus ngejonggrok di tengah jalan man. Napas dah ngos2an.

Liat aja muka Ari di belakang uda aneh juga.

Ada kali selama ampir 1 jam, naek ini gunung dengan tekstur tanjakannya model begini.

Sambil se sekali liat cewek bule lari2 naek sama anjingnya.

Gahar bo.

Ini Arip lagi bergaya sedang hiking. *perlu yah gw jelasin?!?* hehehe

Kelar acara mount tracking ini kita langsung lanjut nyetir ke Queenstown!

Pas di jalan mood gw ga keruan.

Campuran cape, sama keki sama orang sotoy yang bilang

" lari itu ga bagus untuk kaki lu " dan dengan sewot gw jawab " makanya gw pake sepatu lari "

*jadi ceritanya pas turun gunung itu gw sama Arip lari dan ga tau lah kenapa kadang ada orang yang suka komen2 negative kl orang laen ngelakuin sesuatu yang dia ga suka*

Lalu gw en Arip tinggal lari *teteup* en sesekali kita setop buat poto2 ato ngeliat pemandangan..en ada satu spot orang yang ngekomenin itu nyusul pas kita lagi poto2..

eh komennya dong " ini lu yang lelet ato kita yang cepet neh? "

ga nyenengin deh pergi sama orang yang suka nyepet2 gini.

Gw bilang ke Arip, ga mo lagi lah pergi liburan ma Cin-pur..kapok.

Tapi Arip malah berasa ni cin-pur baik kok

Kelar dari acara angin-angin-an..kita nyetir all the way ke arah Twizel.

kota ini cuman kota kecil untuk perhentian menuju ke Queenstown.

Cuman selama otw kesana, kita sempet berenti di pinggir jalan

It's saturday!!

What do u guys have in mind for this weekend?

Me? Nothing.

That's why i start doing some make up product review and play make up the whole afternoon.

Sounds boring? maybe.

But it's fun!

Couple of months ago, I bought this falsie from Daiso (the $2 shop).

$2 for 2 sets of falsie.

I thought it was a pretty good deal.

Quite comfortable and sooo easy to use.

It's actually quite stiff at first, so I loosen it up a bit by putting it around my finger.

Not bad. After around 2 mins..the falsie is ready to use.

For today's make up, i simply use L'oreal compact powder, Viva eyebrow pencil, maybeline mascara, The body shop bronzer and Revlon color stay eyeliner.

The basic make up.

On the left picture: I start drawing my eyes with the black eyeliner thicker towards the end, after I framed my eyes with the eyeliner close to my eyelashes.

The right picture: Maybeline mascara effect on my eyes.

This time, I didn't stick my falsie close to my eyelash.

Instead, I stick it on the top of my highest eyeliner line.

I think I'm gonna wear this casual make up for my next Saturday date out with my hubby.

Today, I'm gonna review 2 lipsticks that I currently i love with.

I love Estee Lauder crystal pink for my daily look

Maybeline pink peach to spice up the make up.

by applying dark purple color (from the same eye shadow range)

to my outer eyes.

South Island trip ^^

Aku lanjut cerita tentang New Zealand trip yah!

Setelah 2 hari pertama gw blogging dari Auckland, hari ke 3 gw terbang ke Christchurch.

Waktu terbang ke Christchurch, gw takut banget kena gempa ato apalah yang ber bau2 alam ngamuk.

Selama terbang berdoa mulu semoga semua lancar dan ga ada halangan selama road trip ini dan juga gw berdoa supaya gw ga sakit karena udaranya cuma antara -3' sampe 5' celcius doang.

Pas sampe Chc, kita langsung laper en semua makanan yang kita liat ga napsuin banget plus harganya 2x harga Singapore, Gileeee...

Gw berasa gw ga suka travelling in a big group, maximum gw travel tuh cuma ber 6.

Karena gw berasa travel segambreng tuh ribet, dan jadinya buang waktu karena tunggu2an.

Ini aja ber 4, pas gw nungguin Diana belanja gw sampe sewot sendiri..

karena beli 1 barang aja bisa kali 15 menit ditimbang-timbang dibanding bandingin dll.

*btw, gw sudah bilang ke dia soal gw sewot nungguin dia belanja..

jadi gw ga ngomongin dia di belakang loh ya *

Pas kita sampe, uda rada malem en kita cuma bermalam di backpacker.

Bukan hotel or even motel.

Oh ini tempat sederhana tapi super nyaman banget.

Ada dapur untuk masak, kamar mandi sebersih hotel,

en ada ruang duduk yang ada perapian pake kayu bakar gitu..

Itu pertama kalinya loh gw liat fireplace yang beneran pake kayu bakar, dan sebelom tempat itu kita bajak buat poto2 ga jelas gini..ada satu nenek tua duduk di sofa samping perapian ini sambil baca buku en megang 1 mug minuman gitu.

Sumhow..gw peaceful banget liat si nenek tua itu.

Trus karena ini backpackers,

kita ga ada luxury stuff kayak bantal isi bulu angsa ato selimut yang wangi.

Yang kita dapet adalah ini:

Nyesel kah kita? engga sama sekali! karena besoknya..pas kita keluar dari backpackers ini..

jalan ga ada 20 meter..kita ketemu LAKE TEKAPO nya..

Indaaaaaah banget, sampe gw narik napas berkali kali terkagum kagum sama ini tempat dan langsung bingung mo poto2 gimana yang bagus.

Dan pas kita lagi liatin danau nya ada yang ngambang-ngambang..

tenang banget ngikutin arus kecil danaunya, eh pas di deketin..ternyata bebek!

Ga penting banget sih ni bebek, cuma suaranya beneran mirip donald duck aja.

Gw pas dapet moment foto ini, gw liatin terus di kamera..

sambil gw mikir..siapa chief designernya di surga, kok bisa milih pallete warnanya begini..

gradasi warna yang begini dll.

Trus gw mikir, dulu gw pernah berdoa en minta sama Tuhan kalo suatu hari gw ke surga..

gw mau jadi dancer aja di surga, dan gw minta Tuhan siapin tempat itu untuk gw.

Tapi setelah liat binatang2 cakep gini gw jadi mikir, mungkin jadi designer binatang di surga lumayan juga ya! gw bikin banyak binatang warna shoking pink! hahahaha..bintang laut shocking pink trus ada bintik2 ijo stabilo..tuuu mantep kan? trus gw bikin gajah motif polkadot..keren kan jadinya?

Anyway, di trip ini gw banyak mikir, banyak ngayal, banyak berharap, banyak bad mood, banyak mengucap syukur juga untuk setiap apa yang gw punya sampe hari ini.

Sentimentil banget ya bo?

Abis suasananya ngedukung banget seh, di danau ini..tenaaaaang aje!

ga ada orangnya..kalo itu ga winter..

gw rasa gw bisa seharian nongkrong disitu.

bengong.

Bengong tu kadang enak ya.

Setelah acara bengang bengong, lanjut acara poto memoto..

Kelar jadi banci kamera disini..kita pindah ke tempat laen.

Next, masi di daerah LAKE TEKAPO ada satu gereja yang namanya

Church of a good Shepherd

Waktu 3 taon yang lalu gw kemari, gerejanya ditutup..

dan kali ini gw beruntung pas banget gereja nya dibuka,

dan iyah, emang bener..orang2 bilang..

"it's beautiful"

Dan gw sama Arip bilang "I DO" one more time di gereja ini.

Lalu kita balik ke mobil en nyetir keluar lake tekapo dan naek all the way ke atas ke tempat yang namanya observatory cafe.

Jadi itu tempat diatas bukit dan di ujung atasnya ada cafe simple yang anginnya

KENCENG LUAR BIASA!

Gw sampe hari itu beranggapan adalah berlebihan kalo orang bilang

" orang ketiup angin "

Tapi hari ini, sungguh gw jalan sampe oleng en pindah arah karena ketiup angin..

pas gw jalan oleng2 ketiup angin..

si Diana (yang lagi di tempat tertutup) bilang " el, kenapa lu jalan oleng2 gitu "

Dan pas sampe gw bilang " ketiup angin gw, anginnya kenceng banget "

Dia malah bilang " oh, lu enteng banget ya sampe ketiup angin ? " -nada ga becanda bo -

Sialan! tapi ya udalah..sulit mo berargumen balik pas gw lagi jalan ngelawan arah angin.

Segimana kencengnya?

Makanan di cafe itu enak, walo kita cuma pesen hot chocolate sama scone2 an gitu.

Kelar dari observatory cafe..kita uda lanjuuut nyetir langsung ke Twizel.

Bunga saya mati....

HUx..hux..hux..mati bukan karena ditinggal ke NZ, tapi karena ada kutu2 super kecil warna merah jalan-jalan di daon-daon en pelan pelan bikin kayak sarang laba2 alus di seluruh pohon.

Sampe Pohon bunga yang subur kayak foto2 dibawah ini jadi kucel layu en sedih bener deh keadaannya. Dasar kutu! bener2 deh..bikin keki, pas ngebunuh tu kutu gw juga ga ada perasaan girang kayak bunuh kecoa ato cicak..yang ada harus ngebunuh tu pohon juga sekalian.

Kenapa gitu? kenapa pohonnya juga mati..? karena gw yang odong ini dan atas saran Arip yang bijaksana..tu kutu gw semprot pake baygon! Kata Arip " nothing to lose ini el, semprot aja " -> at that stage, pohon gw uda sedih bener deh keadaannya..huhuhu..

Untung pas lagi bagus2nya uda gw poto..^^

Dadah pohon bunga..maapkan aku yang buka green finger sama sekali.

Simple!

Wortel bekas juicer dicampur sama satu sendok kecil madu.

Mix it up, trus dipakein ke muka, leave it for 15 min.

Sungguh it works, kulit gw jadi lembab en dewy *teken-teken pipi* hmm..gw suka effectnya deh.

Day 2 oklen!
Bangun tidur gw sakit kepala luar biasa, minum paracetamol trus merem lagi bentar..ga lama, arip tereak " bangun! Da gw bikinin ramyun korea "..seketika itu juga gw bangun dan seger..hahhahaa.

Entah karena paracetamol ato ramyun nya..tapi, efeknya sama bo. Memyembuhkan.

Agak siangan, kita ke Piha beach!! Ouyeee...jemput Lolo..ngejarah topi, syal sama sarung tangan lolo abis itu cabut.

Gw excited banget loh ke beach yang ini, karena gw suka manjatin karang di poto yang kanan ini. :)

Sayang sekali gw ga ada poto pas manjat..karena sulid bo, camwhore sambil manjat karang..tapi pas kita sampe atas..kita poto2!!

Lolo pake bronzer body shop yang gw review kemaren, and it looks good on her..muka dia langsung glowing en fresh banget.
Liat aja fotonya..muka gw flat abis..muka lolo yang super fresh en ber-kontur. Aku iri.

Gw betaaaah banget nongkrong diatas sini..cuman sayangnya ujan! Jadinya harus buru2 ngerangkat turun. Turunnya lebih sulid daripada naek..ibabe gw sama bb arip jatuh nge-glinding di karang!!!!
Ga.Lucu.Banget.
